Eiza Murphy & Lenii to perform at Oscar Wilde Awards

February 6, 2025. Eiza Murphy and Lenii, two artists who happen to be sisters, originally from Cork, will perform at the US-Ireland Alliance’s 19th annual Oscar Wilde Awards which will be held on 27 February at the Ebell of Los Angeles.

It was previously announced that honorees on the night are film producers Kathleen Kennedy and Frank Marshall, actor John C.  Reilly, and Éanna Hardwicke who will received the Wilde Card award as an up-and-coming actor.  Will Ferrell will present Reilly with his award. Screen Ireland and Northern Ireland Screen are among the night’s sponsors.

Lenii is an artist, producer, and songwriter based in Los Angeles. She is signed to Disney Music Publishing in a joint venture with Ross Golan (Unknown Music Publishing). Her ability to craft music across multiple genres has earned her hundreds of millions of streams as a producer and songwriter, while also growing a dedicated fanbase as an artist with a distinctly bold character.

In her solo career, Lenii has thus far released three independent EPs "In All Fairness...", "Zero Sympathy" and "The Problem With Everything", all having debuted at #1 on iTunes; while her polarizing single “White Lie,” charted at Top 20 in Ireland and received on-rotation airplay on RTE 2FM, Red FM and BBC Radio 1. Described by Billboard as “darkly comical”, her tongue-in-cheek lyrics and social commentary have earned her a dedicated and growing fanbase.

As a producer, Lenii has created deep and meaningful relationships with many artists, including rising pop star Kenzie. Establishing herself as one of Kenzie's main collaborators, she co-wrote and produced six tracks on her debut album, biting my tongue, including “anatomy”, and “close to you” featuring ASTN, co-written with PinkSweat$.

Lenii has also produced campaigns for brands like E.L.F. Cosmetics, Love Beauty & Planet, and American Eagle, showcasing her ability to seamlessly adapt to any creative vision while staying true to her core artistry.

Eiza Murphy is an independent singer/songwriter/producer living in Los Angeles. Collaborating closely with her sister Lenii, the duo write and produce all of Eiza's songs with a shared creative vision. Eiza’s debut singles achieved three iTunes #1’s in Ireland, featured in Netflix’s ‘Riverdale’ series, and played on BBC Radio 1 and RTE 2FM as ‘Track of the Week’.

At age fifteen, Eiza moved to New York to study Logic Pro music production at Dubspot School of Electronic Music, where she was the only girl in a class of 20 men and the youngest by 15 years. Since then, she has performed in venues worldwide and recently completed her first European tour, supporting NEVE.

Trina Vargo, founder of the US-Ireland Alliance, wondered, “is there something in the water in Cork?  There seems to be a disproportionate amount of creative talent coming from Ireland’s second city, or Ireland’s true capital if you’re from there.”
